Chance encounters with bushpigs in the daytime

Trying to hunt and shoot bushpigs is tough enough at any time of the day but shooting one as a chance encounter during the day always stirs a rare kind of excitement amongst those who understand what bushpigs really are.During this current season Mr's Raul Alvarez from Mexico and Dino Bugni from Montana each managed this incredible feat at shooting a biushpig in the daytime as chance encounters.Congratulations,you are lucky hunters!

Bushpig 2014 update

2014 has been another fantastic season and bushpig hunting has once again been at the forefront of our success at Blaauwkrantz.We have harvested no fewer than 14 trophy pigs so far this season and I believe we have a few more to go.To my knowledge there is no other single property that produces as many big bushpigs on a consistent basis as Blaauwkrantz.
I n August this year Mrs Debbie Gentry from Dallas,Texas completed her Hogslam here by taking a monster 90 kg bushpig.She shot a huge warthog in 2012 and the picture shows her receiving her Award with PH Francois Rudman on her right.Congratulations to Debbie for making a great shot in the darkness!
