Congratulations to Danish Hunter Martin Rosenberg who shot a fine bushpig boar last week making him the first Blaauwkrantz Bushking for 2017.
Two things made this hunt remarkable, the first being that the pigs came to the bait well before dark (being mid summer it stays light till late), and the second was while driving to the bait, we spotted another chance encounter bushpig and Martin had a long shot but unfortunately missed.
Martin shot a very nice bushpig in 2015 too and found the experience so thrilling that he wanted to try again. He had another memorable bushpig hunt last week.
